1995
THE BEGINNINGS
In their Santa Ninfa the brothers Palmeri Tommaso and Matteo begin to produce excellent cheeses of the dearest Sicilian culinary tradition.
Thus was born Sicilformaggi and with the first factory in via Ugo Bassi. The cheese trade of the Palmeri family, started in nearby markets, it soon reaches the gates of large Italian cities.


1998
VALUABLE PRODUCTS
Over the years Sicilformaggi produces tasty and genuine Sicilian cheeses: products worth, well above average, able to establish themselves in the market and to be appreciated by more and more families, eager to eat well and healthy.
In this period the first Sicilformaggi specialty was born: the Caciottone Santa Ninfa. rigorously produced by combining modern and innovative quality standards with traditional Sicilian recipes, because Sicily has always linked the history of its people to the production of typical high quality cheeses.
2001
NEW PLANTS
In those years Sicilformaggi grew with positive trends every year, in a virtuous path that seems unstoppable and that requires a change of pace in logistics. Thus was born the new factory in the artisan area of Santa Ninfa. A modern and avant-garde place that allows the company to produce , store and season in a fast and modern way.


2008
GDO E nutrient
In 2008 the second Sicilformaggi specialty is born: the pecorino Vinello, aged in grape marc. In those years the company began to work in large-scale distribution making a leap in growth both in turnover and in production and in the number of employees. Furthermore, for the first time Sicilformaggi participates in the CIBUS by collaborating with other companies and by increasing the number of customers.
2017
USA AND YOGURT
With the development of cutting-edge marketing policies Sicilformaggi achieves many growth objectives. In recent years the company has become aware of its means and turns its gaze overseas for interesting collaborations and supplies. In addition, the first line of Yogurt created inside the dairy is born.


2019
THE BIO LINE IS BORN
Current dietary needs and lifestyles greatly influence the perception in each of us of what is "good", making us increasingly inclined to pay more attention to achieving general personal well-being. To be able to satisfy such a large audience, Sicilformaggi has created the BIO line of cheeses, a new line able to offer a valid alternative for the most diverse food needs. Products that don't want to serve only specific audiences, but they intend to cover the needs of all those who have decided to take care of their well-being every day, even in the smallest details, starting precisely from food.
TAILORING PACKAGING
Tailoring attention is paid to the packaging of our products and to the choice of aesthetically innovative solutions, modern and ecological. The most delicious and refined finishes are added to the vacuum packs, to enhance the goodness of the content they protect also from the outside.
